A Building with History and Character
Built in the early 20th century, Sir Augustin originally welcomed Madrid’s elite with grand façades, sweeping staircases, and intricate interior details. Over the decades, it has maintained its charm while embracing modern design touches. At Casa Decor, visitors can walk through our rooms where ornate moldings meet sleek furniture, and classic light fixtures paired with bold, contemporary art, a dialogue between past and present that brings the building’s story vividly to life.
Sir Augustin Comes Alive
Designers worked with Sir Augustin’s architectural features — high ceilings, decorative moldings, and elegant staircases — to create moments that feel both contemporary and respectful of the space’s history. Guests can discover standout lighting designs by Marset and Vibia, bespoke furniture by Gan Rugs and De La Espada, and innovative uses of sustainable materials like cork, recycled metals, and natural fibers.
We’re thrilled to see Sir Augustin buzzing with creativity. Ahead of its full opening, the 3,900-square-metre property—developed with local partner Take Point and Nost who designed our lobby space —will feature 41 rooms, a restaurant, a rooftop bar, and The Cover, a private members’ club. A big thank you to Casa Decor for opening the doors with us.
