We can’t divulge too much yet, but a little birdie told us that Max Brown is heading to Vienna’s coolest neighborhood, Neubau, aka the Seventh District. It’s an exciting new addition to the Max Brown family, which includes Berlin, Düsseldorf, Amsterdam’s Canal District, and Amsterdam’s Museum Square. More info from the little birdie coming soon…
In the meantime, get familiar with our new neighborhood, Neubau, aka the Seventh District, is Vienna’s artsy, burgeoning neighborhood adjacent to the city’s more traditional center, and it’s known for its wide array of eccentric storefronts.
Here are some of our favorite spots so far:
Burggasse 24
A cozy coffee shop and vintage boutique shop all in one space.
Mumok
Mumok, aka the (Mu)seum (Mo)derner (K)unst (the Museum of Modern Art), exhibits over 10,000 modern works by some casual names like Warhol, Picasso, and Lichtenstein.
Schokov
The luxury chocolate shop’s slogan is “extraordinary chocolates for extraordinary people,” and “extraordinary chocolates” is correct. They live up to the hype.
Volta
Our favorite stop for contemporary, minimalist interior design objects.
Uppers & Downers
A carefully curated store of quality vintage clothing.
Galerie Zeitloos
A funky, vintage furniture store that stocks designs from the 1940s to ’80s.
